This is a reletively cheap theatre venu.

The main room is quite nice as a winter venue and has a fire.

Price about $250?? (Please confirm this if you can)

Hamilton Hill Memorial Hall

This is a lovelly theatre with a big stage seeting 160. The Raised seeting can be concentinaed back against the wall if a flat hall is desired.

This hall is the home of Phoenix Community Theatre and is very reasonably priced.

John Curtin Colledge

John Curtin have two theatres.

A fabulous big new one (not cheap though) and a smaller one.

Kidogo

They have 85 Chairs available.
Flat floor venu next to the beach - beutiful ambiance.

If they have an exhibition on you will need to arange for the paintings to be covered with cloths if you don't want to see them.

Other possibilities that could be checked out.

This church has a hall and amphitheatre.

Holds up to 150
But not such a good venue for storytelling.

Hall
This venu is lovelly and inexpensive but not easy to book regularly as you need to fit around church events & weddings.
It would hold between 80 and 100 people.

 

Victoria Hall (Deck Chair Theatre)

Costs about $800+ Probably too expensive for most storytelling concerts.

Joondalup Library

Bill Park recomends Joondalup Library as a venue.

"Michael at the above tells me that a meeting room is available Saturdays.
The facilities are excellent.I can say there is no charge,by checking with me.

King Street Arts Centre

The King Street Arts Centre
Has rooms available for $10/hr & $15/hr

"The King Street Arts Centre is located between Murray and King Streets. The Arts Centre houses a range of arts-related organisations plus two galleries - FORM and Gullotti Galleries, as well as a high quality craft shop. Directional signage to the art centre off King Street may be difficult to read and can not be readily seen by passing pedestrians."

The Blue Room

The Blue Room, located between the Art gallery and Alexanda library, has several spaces available from as little as $10(members)/$20(non-members)
Yearly Membership costs $40/$30 conc.

Wanneroo Amphitheatre

Sally Gaunt recomended the Wanneroo Amphitheatre near the council chambers as a storytelling venue.
